Alison Barnes

Alison is an experienced project manager who has been managing projects for over 10 years.  She is a PRINCE2 Practitioner and has an excellent understanding of the principles and benefits of good project management, as well as the many issues that projects and project managers encounter.  Alison’s background is in IT where she has spent over 20 years working for several organisations including Cadbury Schweppes, United Biscuits and BASF.  During this time she has worked on numerous projects in a variety of roles, including being responsible for the design and delivery of many training courses.  Alison is vibrant and enthusiastic and brings facilitative learning into her training style.

Claire Bush

Claire’s background is in Human Resource Management, where she spent many years working within the retail and utilities sectors in a variety of roles focussing mainly on recruitment, management development, communication and change management. A Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development, she now works as a consultant and coach with a variety of organisations, in both the private and public sectors. Claire is an accredited coach who is also qualified in psychometric testing. She is able to develop partnerships which both challenge and stimulate the development of different approaches and the building of new skills. With an excellent understanding of the pressures on individuals and organisations to achieve results, her approach is both professional and pragmatic, focussing on solutions and delivering sustainable improvements.

Clare Mayall

As an internationally experienced OD/HR consultant, Clare has worked in a variety of sectors from telecommunications, through manufacturing to financial services. With a first degree in psychology and a postgraduate qualification on HR Management, Clare initially developed a career in HR. Her relentless desire for variety and challenge took her into line management roles and customer service management. She has worked in countries as diverse as Japan and the USA.

Craig Wardman

Craig Wardman is an accredited Professional Coach, NLP Practitioner and his specialism is in personality profiling with tools such as DISC, the innovative 'Colours' technique & MBTi.  Craig offers effective & motivational delivery & facilitation of leadership development & relationship management sales programmes, and has a wealth of experience in 1 to 1 business & life coaching. Craig has  extensive experience of working with multi-national organisations, originating with many of the World’s Leading Financial Services organisations.  In addition he works in the wider industry sectors including clients in both the private, public & voluntary sectors.  This includes health & community care, education, telecommunications, media & newspapers, oil & petroleum, construction, energy, automotive, food, retail & travel sectors in the U.K., Europe & the Middle East & the Southern Hemisphere.

Fiona Pratley

Fiona has spent over 15 years in general management, human resources and training and development roles. Her experience has been in both private and corporate organisations with service in the hospitality, retail, manufacturing, logistics and distribution sectors. She graduated with honours at Sheffield Polytechnic and later undertook the Institute of Personnel and Development qualification at the University of Northumbria. She is currently a Member of the Institute of Personnel & Development.

Graham Barton

Graham Barton holds a B.Ed Honours Degree and is also a Fellow Member of the Finance Society and a Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute.  Graham provides compliance consultancy  and advanced financial and technical training for financial services professionals, as well as preparing and delivering Tutor and Examiner training courses for the CII.  Since becoming an independent consultant, Graham also delivers a range of financial training programmes and financial planning workshops to both the private and public sector.  He is extremely conscientious , reliable with strong presentation and organisation ability.

Ian Burton

Ian Burton’s interest in the outdoor life began many years ago after he had completed his HND’s in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Being exposed to mountaineering at an early age and whilst still in employment both took part in, and organised, outdoor training exercises for co- employees. In 1996 Ian took voluntary redundancy and embarked on a career in providing a wide range of outdoor based training services as well as becoming fully qualified in aspects of outdoor pursuits. Ian is a resourceful and practical person who can relate to people on many different levels, with an easy manner and high standards and is always well received by GSC clients.

James Owers

James has come from a highly successful background in sales and sales management, spending the last 6 years developing teams all over the world. He is an accredited Microsoft sales trainer and NLP practitioner; James's training is delivered in an energetic and enthusiastic way imparting new skills and giving his delegates the motivation to be able to implement them.
He works in a wide area of industries, some recent clients he's worked with are - AXA, Sage, Microsoft, GSK, and Ecolab. The areas he excels in are: Presentation skills, customer service training, negotiation and influencing techniques, telephone sales training, appointment generation, coaching for sales managers, B2B consultative sales courses, selling for non sales staff, and retail sales training.

Jenny White

Jenny White has spent 20 years designing and delivering training and development strategies and interventions in consultancy and senior HR roles in the power, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries. With a first degree specialising in Organisational Behaviour, Jenny was trained by Saville & Holdsworth in Psychometric Assessment, Job Profiling and Assessment & Development Centre Design and has used these tools in a wide variety of training, development and assessment applications.  In recent years Jenny has designed and delivered business solutions across the full range of people contexts and is known for her attention to detail , warm facilitation style in a range of private and public sector clients.

Jill Morrow

Jill Morrow is an executive coach and consultant specialising in management and leadership development and talent management. She currently works with a number of coaching clients across various business sectors including Orange, Zurich International, BT and Reed Elsevier and is an Associate and Head of Executive Services for a Leadership Development company. Jill is also a member of the visiting faculty of Henley Management College coaching on their leadership and career development programmes. Jill’s professional career has centred on the development of people and behavioural change in organisations and she easily recognises and understands behavioural issues and has a practical approach to facilitating change in individuals.

Kevin Parker

Kevin Parker is a leading European consultant in the areas of change management, leadership and performance and is a qualified and experienced Executive Coach. He is an honours graduate in Economics from the University of Bristol. Kevin has been entered in the ‘Who’s Who’ of Britain’s Business Elite. He is joint author of several books: ‘How to Take Part In The Quality Revolution’, ‘The Total Quality Experience’, Sailing Through Six Sigma’ and ‘Management Consulting’. 1990 he led a million-pound investment to enhance consulting services in major change, visiting a wide range of world class companies in Japan, the USA, and Europe. He maintains links with Wharton Business School (USA) and Erasmus Business School in Holland on areas of Strategy and Leadership. Kevin has been guiding many clients in maximising the potential of their organisations through strategically focussed leadership and change programmes, since the mid 80’s.

Lesley Gibbons

Lesley began her career working in one of the UK’s largest insurance companies as a Senior Development Consultant. During this time she worked closely with some of the Business Directors to research, design and deliver highly successful training interventions. Lesley has held various positions within the Lloyds TSB Group where she was responsible for managing a number of training staff as well as the delivery of some key Human Resources projects. More recently, Lesley has supported and delivered training in a number of UK, European and Middle Eastern businesses and works closely with companies to ensure training and development solutions are tailored and in line with their business strategy. Lesley works well with individuals in a coaching and mentoring capacity as she takes time to understand them, challenge and support them and provide professional advice. Her approach means that people naturally gravitate to her to provide focus and thoughtful solutions.

Lisa-Jayne Fallows

Lisa-Jayne is a Human Resource and Development Practitioner with over 10 year’s generalist experience within a world-leading, American manufacturing organisation. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, and the Institute of Leadership & Management. Lisa also offers 12 years current experience providing organisational and people development solutions where she has embraced and helped other organisations to gain accreditation with the ILM. A credible and passionate Leader with charisma who has a strong background in successful people and projects management. Lisa-Jayne has developed and delivered programmes with senior management and teams in education, finance, local government, engineering, manufacturing and service industries.

Mike Franklyn

Mike Franklyn is an experienced senior executive with a first class track record of project managing, designing and delivering highly effective individual and group change, development and outplacement programmes. Supported by a successful senior management career working with market leading service sector companies, management and business consultancies, Mike has extensive commercial experience which he has continued to build upon. This includes working with all levels and functions of staff and within a wide range of production, manufacturing and service environments for some of the largest and most respected companies in the UK. Mike is an energetic and self-motivated individual who has proven to be an adaptable, pragmatic and nurturing leader. His highly developed problem solving skills and supportive nature are perfect within the field of change, development and outplacement.

Paul Batty

Paul Batty is a  highly successful development training, and facilitation specialist, with over 20 years experience, particularly in the outdoor experiential arena.  Paul has worked closely with many organisations both in the UK and abroad gaining a wealth of experience including work in retailing, banking, insurance, and manufacturing.  Paul is adept at working with top teams from blue-chip organisations through to shop floor personnel . As an excellent communicator, outgoing and dynamic he quickly works well with new groups of people. His challenging yet friendly and supportive style encourages people to focus on priority areas and issues confidently and quickly.

Val Danahar

Val Danahar is a very practical and articulate operator, who offers strong management experience gained over 15 years in HR and Training & Development.  She has worked in senior level positions in the private and retail sectors, and led Management Development initiatives for a range of large European and UK client organisations. With experience of Human Resources and general Personnel activities, Val offers drive and determination to ensure maximum achievement performance against planned assignment objectives. Val’s career has also culminated in her winning a National Training Award.  In addition to working in the private sector, Val has several years public sector experience where recent projects have included assessment and development centres and more recently leading outplacement projects.
