  • Cotswold Archaeology teams up with G S Consultancy to deliver award-winning
    career development programme.
    Cotswold Archaeology, a long-standing G S Consultancy (GSC) client, has won the prestigious 2016 Archaeological Training Forum Award for its Career Development Programme.
    The award was presented at the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists conference in Leicester. It recognises the company's success in developing a coherent Career Development Programme to support employees reach their potential. The aim of the scheme is to give talented archaeologists a career path with clearly defined goals.   Read more.
  • Kohler
    Project Management: After the success of our first programme, GSC has been commissioned to run a second Project Management workshop for Kohler. Leaders within the company will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to get the very best from their projects linking it into their own project management framework and matrix. In addition, GSC has also been commission to run a One Day Root Cause Analysis Programme at their Cheltenham site.
  • Bovis
    GSC are delighted to announce the continuation of the second Managing Effectively programme for Bovis Homes. This bespoke programme runs on a 4 x Modular based workshop approach and includes a number of 1:1 Coaching sessions. The programme also includes a variety of self-development tools including Self Deployment Inventory (SDI). Bovis have a number of new individuals who they are keen to develop to support their business growth in this industry. It is essential that all these individuals work effectively together in order to achieve consistency at all interfaces between their teams and their customers.
  • NEW COURSES FOR MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID AT WORK
    With one in four people having a mental health condition at some point in their lives, it is inevitable that individuals will feel an impact at work. Helping staff to spot if colleagues are experiencing problems and understanding how they can help is integral to new Mental Health First Aid training now being offered by leadership and management training experts GS Consultancy (Management Training) Ltd.
    The courses can be run in house for businesses for up to 16 delegates or for smaller companies and individuals we are running an open programme, which will be held at Gloucester Rugby Club in May.
    "A decision by companies to invest in mental health first aid shows a business commitment to its employees as human beings with very real struggles," explains Gilly Salter, Managing Director of G S Consultancy.
    "We have many years experience of delivering leadership, management and team building programmes to clients and we constantly see that no-one is immune from the stresses and strains of life and we all need to do more to identify when someone might be struggling and to help. "

  • Elim Housing
    Elim Housing - with the final Customer Service review completed, Elim's commitment to developing their staff will continue. They have commissioned GSC to design and deliver a bespoke new Leadership Programme commencing in the Autumn. The programme which consists of 7 days training will take place in October, before being rolled out to their Leaders starting in November. Delegates will then attend a final presentation in March 2016 sharing their journey and all that they have learned along the way.
